Born in Beaumont, Texas, on September 23, 1983, he began his career journey immediately after high school, initially working in the trades. He continued his education at the Community College of the Air Force, earning an Associate of Science in Criminal Justice in 2011. Following this, he attended Southern Nazarene University in Bethany, Oklahoma, where he completed his Bachelor of Science in Organizational Leadership in 2022. Service in the United States Air Force
In 2009, Elijah Langhorne joined the United States Air Force, embarking on a significant chapter in his life as a Military Police Officer. Stationed at Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, his responsibilities included patrolling, securing the base, and managing emergency response operations. He protected assets valued at over $15 billion and managed the base’s most extensive General Services Administration (GSA) vehicle fleet. He also served in combat zones in Iraq and Afghanistan during Operations Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom, where he led troops and contributed to counterinsurgency efforts. In addition to his operational duties, he took on roles such as Squadron Trainer and Safety Officer, where he developed and implemented training programs for his colleagues.
Founding Langhorne Electrical & Contracting, LLC
After leaving the Air Force in 2018, he utilized his extensive skills and experiences to found Langhorne Electrical & Contracting LLC in March 2022, located in Leesville, Louisiana.
